Hands-On ASP.net training by Charles M. Carroll
The BEST Way to Learn ASP.net
Notice: February 2005 clases
are our last public classes.
It's been a great 8 years of teaching ASP.net and a great 20 years of teaching.
But time to do something even more fun!

After February we recommend
AspWorkshops.com
the superb training company of Steven Walther author of ASP.net Unleashed.

We will maintain a Training Directory of training companies offering Asp.net too but we don't endorse these trainers.
February 2005 will be the last regular public classes offered by AspTraining.com by Charles Carroll. I started offering a regular public schedule of classes of ASP classes in 1996 when ASP was in beta till 2000 when I shifted to ASP.net and taught through 2004. We also in between public classes offered private training for companies with their own classrooms that wanted us at their Facility.

If you want to attend classes by me and never got a chance -- February 2005 is the last hurrah. The 4 day classes in Feb 2005 are the last public ASP.net classes offered by me for many more years unless hundreds of students paratroop into whatever consulting assignment or job I have and drag me to a calendar and demand I choose some class dates and set some rates or die. Even then I might not teach ASP.net again and just take the bullet :) You can read why the biggest reason for my retirement if you want the gory details; or don't read it... Its just water under the bridge that MS as a corporations does not have the ethics to police their own. I have a few things I want to teach (perhaps in 5-10 years when I enter the game again) but it is not ASP.net. Avalon SDK and/or XAML programming with .net; SQLserver Yukon; some superb sucessor to the Rainbow/DNN/Plumtree crowd that we can write .net modules for; Many things more interesting to teach that are in alpha/beta now or in the early design and brainstorming stages that won't be mature enough or have enough market share to support teaching till 2010-2015.
