GMail Tips and Tricks by Charles Carroll

Gmail rocks but people new to it don't dicover certain things; particulary people who have experience in other mail clients that are way behind GMail. Here are my tips (this list is shot but will be expanded)
  • Press the letter R key to reply to current mail
  • Use Filters to create Labels to organize Mail. If you create a filter that assigns a mail a Label then not only will all relevant mail end up under that label, but unlike folders in traditional mail packages a mail can be listed under several labels simultaneously
  • Read the search tips @ http://gmail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=7190! I beat the filter count limit by clever use of OR for example.
