I had high hopes for this book to provide me with some Egyptian mythos for my book research.
Unfortuantely I found a mediocre, cardboard 1-d character novel with a drab plot, poor research and I cannot recommend it to anyone
I have read much better Robin Cook Books...

Very great idea here but book is way too long. Concept of thin slicing vs. Thick slicing and instinct vs. analysis. Fascinating stuff but whole book could be summarized in a half dozen pages and some additional ideas come to mind he could have covered if he was not so fascinated by the existence fo the concept, and focused on uses and practicialities.
