Utility Belt:
Using the Library in VisualStudio.net
by Don Kitchen
Here are the
steps to use the Utility Belt library in VS.NET:
-
Create a new VB Class
Library Project named “UtilityBelt”
-
Copied the source code from
learnasp.com
-
Changed configuration
manager to release
-
Build new UtilityBelt Class
-
Close UtilityBelt project
-
Open existing ASP.NET Web
Application
-
Added a Reference to newly
compiled UtilityBelt DLL by doing the following
-
Right click “References”
in Solution Explorer and select “Add Reference”
-
Clicked Browse when the
Add Reference window came up (under .NET tab)
-
Navigated to my newly
compiled UtilityBelt.DLL file and clicked OK
-
Referenced the new Class in
my VB code just like is done in the examples on learnasp.com
Screen shots will be here soon.

There are many worthy charities!!. But perhaps help starving children in Africa or South America AND help Charles too.
a $5 tip buys him lunch at McDonalds,
a $20 tip buys his kid Hitoshi a new computer game,
a $39 tip buys his daughter Michiko a few nice outfits.
See our donor list.
