Subject: [asp advanced] the best way to do file upload ?

Hi

What is the best way to implement file upload in ASP ?

use an activeX component like SoftArtisan SA-FileUp ? what is it the best component to do that ? is it possible to do that just in asp script ?

i know that it's not an "expert question" but i'm waiting an "expert answer" ,-) cause if it's only to say "Yes, use SA-FileUp"... i already know that... Thanks in advance

Guillaume

We have been using SA-FileUp for one of our production systems for about sic months (multiple people from multiple locations, all uploading quite hefty documents to a server) - across 28.8KB lines - and the component works like a charm: the support from Software Artisans is exemplary and the component has caused no problems: the features are extensive (especially the ability to mix file upload and form data within the form). We tried the Microsoft poster but it was just a bit above brain dead by comparison.

Hope this helps.
